Version 1 UUID
A Version 1 UUID is a universally unique identifier that is generated using a timestamp and the MAC address of the computer on which it was generated.
Version 3 UUID (namespace w/ MD5)
UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) version 3 is one of the different versions of UUIDs, which are standardized 128-bit identifiers defined by RFC 4122.
Version 4 UUID
A Version 4 UUID is a universally unique identifier that is generated using random numbers. The Version 4 UUIDs produced by this site were generated using a secure random number generator.
Version 5 UUID (namespace w/ SHA-1)
UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) version 5 is another variant of UUID, defined in RFC 4122. Like version 3, version 5 uses a namespace identifier (UUID) and an input name (string) to generate a unique identifier, but it employs a different hash function.
